Those wanting competitive play will find opportunities in the Men’s, Ladies and Junior Leagues and LTA Tournaments that are played at the club. Many members play the game purely as a social activity and will welcome others to join them both at sessions organised by the club and by individuals. Membership Categories and Fees: Family - 2 adults and children living in the same household. (All those over 10yrs old have full and equal playing rights) - £270 per year. Adult - Any person aged 19yrs to 59yrs (Full playing rights) - £150 per year. Senior - Any person 60 yrs or over (Full playing rights ) - £80 per year Student - Any person in full time education (Full playing rights) - £80 per year Junior - Young person aged 11yrs – 18yrs (Full playing rights) - £65 per year Mini (U 10) - Child 10yrs or under. Equal playing rights with adults to 6pm. Juniors and adults take priority after this time. Under 10s may bring 1 adult with them to the courts free of charge to enable practice - £41 per year. Other Concessions- These include restricted playing time options such as 9am – 5pm weekdays only or ‘Lunchtime’ Membership (£51) which is from 12pm to 2pm. Please ask Membership Secretary for further details. All ages referred to in the membership categories are based on the age of the applicant on April 1st in the year of the membership application. Please note that membership runs from 01 April 2009 to 31 March 2010. Discounted rates are applicable for new members who join during the year. Remember fees include: * Use of courts * Use of floodlights* * Reduced group coaching fees * Use of balls at club organised activities. * Clubroom with showers & changing facilities * Refreshment facility. * Regular members newsletter * Membership of the Social Club with its bar, Sky Sports TV and social events. Most clubs charge up to £2 per hour for the use of floodlights but at Almondsbury the only "hidden extras" are match fees for League team players, charges for social events to cover costs of refreshments etc and entry fees for some tournaments. |
